Description

Name: Drumfell

Origin: "Drumlin" + "Eldfell" (an Icelandic volcano, the name means "Hill of fire")
Type: Ice/Fire
Abillity: Overcoat (HA: Bulletproof)
Fake-Dex: "The core of its body is so hot, part of its shell melted. At the same time the parts that are not melted, isolate Drumfell's body, which created a cone reminiscent of a volcano."

Evolution: Igluum -- Lv. 40 --> Drumfell


It's based on Iceland, the land of glaciers and volcanoes. Had to decide between this idea and an underwater volcano turtle, but since I already have a turtle in my dex, I went with a tortoise.

I don't understand, if his body is almost made of lava, how come his shell looks like ice? is the shell warm proof or is his body not thermal conductor?
This said, I like his body, it looks like a dragon in a shell armor

Thanks for your input. Only the inner, less durable part of the shell is molten. Then again I went more for design than logic here. If Magcargo can be 18.000 °F which is much hotter than the sun's surface and not everyone on the planet bursts into flames and it even has some of the magma cooled down enough to become solid, maybe so can the core of a tortoise be hot enough to melt only part of its shell with the outer side being cold. I don't really know.

oh, I agree. The design is awesome. And I agree again, Game Freak doesn't always think everything through (Flareon's body heat can reach 1700°C and Tauros weigh only 80 kg...)
