So... I replace Makoto for ;w;" as I never got a grasp of him... it didn't work out for me...

So I drew this boy a while ago.. and wrote his bio and personality a while ago.. just needed to decide if I actually wanted to use him.... But I do

Personality: Minoru is a very distant guy. He can appear a bit intimidating and unapproachable at first – to many people because of his height and the usually very serious expression. He isn’t the best at socializing, despite really liking conversation and being around people. He isn’t the best with words, and can’t very often put words on his thoughts in front of people, despite being quite intelligent.

Minoru doesn’t smile that much, as he usually gets the feeling that it would look weird if he did. Exactly why this is, he doesn’t really know. He can laugh and have fun just like anybody else, but he tends to feel concerned of what people would think of him, and often will he find himself missing out on a lot of opportunities because of him simply just being shy – cause shy he is! While nobody knows this and will see it as him just not being interested, most of his hostility is simply just awkward shyness when it comes to getting close to people. At first he won’t speak much, and he keeps his opinions to himself. However it only takes a bit of patience to get him to open just enough up to become talkative. When earlier written that he doesn’t put his thoughts to words, this is only a rule applying to his personal thoughts and emotions – not about opinions. (for instance if he think that your hair looks ugly this certain day, he will not be afraid to tell you. But if he feels sad or down, you won’t hear a word about it)

Besides this shy and very reserved side of him, he is also a young man with his hormones playing it’s influrance. He won’t jump people on first sight, but if the chance is playing up to him, and he is allowed, he will not hold his hormones back. You can’t really say that he is a pervert in that sense ; he just likes women – and what comes with them bodywise. He isn’t one to commit himself in relationships – not because he doesn’t believe in them being able to last – he’s just nervous that it would go wrong, and that he would end up hurt – or end up hurting the other. It might be a small trust issue he got, which is probably also what plays in on him when his shyness kicks in around new people – he doesn’t trust them.

Yet this does not mean he can’t fall in love. It have happened a few times, and while he usually appears as a very calm and even slightly stoic guy, he becomes shy and unable to really speak when around this person he got feelings for. Words just won’t come to him.

Minoru prefer people wouldn’t have to see his softer spots, as he on an overall basis likes to come off as the cool kind of guy. He might be a bit sarcastic in his sense of humor, and when he starts to feel comfortable around people, he will loosen up and might even start teasing these people to get reactions from them.

Furthermore Minoru got a deep secret; He is an otaku to the bottom of his heart; He loves anime and manga, not to mention cosplay, and secretly follows different cosplayers online. He goes to conventions; but will always try to hide his identity when doing so. It doesn’t fit with the image he want to have…

Bio: Minoru’s first couple of years was fairly standard. His parents met in the subway one cold morning, and just as they loved each other back then, so would they shower their son in love too. However, Minoru’s dad isn’t his biological father. Shortly before the parents met, his mom had gotten pregnant with her boyfriend back then. She hadn’t meant to, and as she found out, she had broken up with the boyfriend already beforehand, and considered to get an abortion. She wanted a child, as she was already a bit up in age, but she feared what her parents would say, and if she would be alone for the rest of her life because of this. But her husband to be encouraged her to keep the child. Even if it wasn’t his own, he loved her so much already after a month, that he knew she was the one. He feared he couldn’t get children himself, since his older brother could not, so to him it was only a blessing.

As Minoru was born, it didn’t take long before the couple got married. Minoru didn’t look much like any of his parents; due to his biological father was an immigrant from Brazil. His skin had a beautiful tan, and since he is born blind on one eye, he also got an unusual color to it (compared to his natural eyecolor being a soft dark brown). Because of this he was bullied a lot at school, which through the years caused him to close off from the people around him at school. He isolated himself a lot, and would read instead. When at home he would usually read manga or watch anime. He already from the age of 12 started to look up on cosplayers, as his cousin one day brought him along to a convention. His parents said it was stupid and a waste of time; books was the only way to go anywhere in this world, and comics was for small children only.

Minoru would spend a lot of time in his studies, and occasionally he would play basket with a few of the classmates who wasn’t on his neck all the time. The bullying died out slowly through the years, and Minoru did manage to get a couple of friends through his childhood. One of them was a girl named Yuuko, who also became his first girlfriend at the age of 15. They however split up as she was send off to boarding school at her upcoming year of highschool. Minoru would remain going to school in the area where he lived; Osaka, but the contact to Yuuko died out eventually.

His relation to his parents wasn’t the best at this time. Minoru had gotten himself into a couple of fights, and started smoking. He still did well at school and got good grades, but his rebellious phase was kicking in. At the age of 18, when he was to start on his third year of highschool, he got into a huge argument with his parents, causing him to move out from home. He went to Tokyo to live by his cousin for a while. His grades allowed him to get into Todokawa as a transfer student.
