Description A Beauty and the Beast-like love story; who could love Medusa but a blind man? After all, they always say love is blind.
I'm sure this has been done before, probably multiple times, but I like this idea.
For some reason, it feels like the only time I'm not hampered by my ADD is when I'm drawing. As corny as it sounds, I'm really glad that I have something that I can do with such a passion.

Medium: Mechanical pencil.

There is a myth associated with Athena. Tiresias was struck blind by Athena while she was bathing nude. It was an accident, but he never recovered. So I was thinking who better to be with Medusa than a blind man who was cursed by the same Goddess.

I know! Right? But not just because he's blind, but they both deserve love.

Thank you! It actually looks better in person, the scanner took a lot of detail out of it :/

very cool concept!

and i bet it does!

that's the problem with digital transfer!
something always gets lost, unless you start digital!
and as tempted as i am to dabble in digital art, i know in my heart it's kind of bogus and cheesy!

hand crafted! i'm all about old school!
i don't even like using these additives they put on the market to make the painting process easier. it's just cheating!
traditional method! takes more discipline but is far more rewarding!

Yeah, plain pencil is by far my favorite medium to work in. I tried digital art a couple times buts didn't really like it.

i love oil painting, but something about drawing in pencil,
it's just very liberating and very on the affordable side!!!

besides, drawing is the basic foundation of art! as far as i see it?

Yeah. The more I think about it the more I realize that pencil is the perfect medium.

it truly is!

it you can perform it in pencil, you can create it in just about any other medium.

on top of that drawing just relaxes me.
