Description Another sketch I did while killing time in my hotel room. I posed him myself using multiple references and it was quite difficult compared to drawing humans... Anyhoo, it's not much but it was enough to keep me out of mischief XD

Ballpoint pen in my notebook. Total 2hrs

This is a very nice illustration of him. It's so detailed, and what makes it even more extraordinary is the fact that you did it with pen - which of course can't be erased if a mistake is made. Really skillfully done! It looks fantastic!

Wow, from the fine touches in the fur to the effects of him seeming to slide back and either gently bringing the sword back to position after a clash+recoil or preparing to strike and moving it so fast there seems to be a blur/after image.

haha thanks XD It's not that hard once you get used to it really - you notice if you look closely that I started with light penwork to establish the proportions, pose etc and as I filled in the details, that gets covered up more or less

Yeah, I see. I tried to draw something with ballpoint pen but it seems too hard for me especially the shading... It's just not my thing
