Description Well almost - minus Slippy Toad because I ran out of paper. LOL FAIL

I don't know why, but I really like sketching my animals in ballpoint pens. Just the feel of it against paper when I'm shading in the texture of fur, feathers etc is really satisfying in the process. Obviously, I left the clothing details sketchy because I was mainly focusing on the actual animals. Also taken some creative license with some of the detailing so that they more or less resemble their cartoon versions.

Ballpoint on scrap paper. 1hr +/- per character = approx 4hrs total

Falco isn't a falcon. He is a Mikado Pheasant. Just google this. You see clearly the red eye markings and dark blue feathers.

Well, techically his color scheme was based off of a pheasant. It's never officially been stated what type of bird he actually is. I like to think of him as a falcon-pheasant hybrid, but that's just me.

Very well made. The only thing I can say is Falco is not suppose to be a Falcon.

Thanks!  Yeah his appearance looks more like the Vietnamese pheasant than a falcon but that seemed a bit lame, character-wise - besides he has 'falcon' in his name so the former isn't as obvious to most people anyway

Ni~ce. Ballpoint is really useful for such textures... I like sketching with it more than actually working with it, because I'm not quite THAT good yet, but it's still a fascinating artistic tool. Great job.
