I'm in Hong Kong yeah. It's pretty easy to get your hands on cute stuff, pretty much like Japan. If your lungs are better, it would be a good place to visit!

That must be bad for you.....But basically, Hong Kong is pretty polluted as well....due to the traffic. But I guess it is better than mining towns/

Nah, we have scrubbers and stuff in the furnaces, and a acid converter plant (System), but when the wind switches direction all the rubbish comes back our way...

oh, and I don't have a choice, I am only 16. My dad is an electrical engineer for the mines, and, well, my mum has lived her whole life here. And if we moved we would go to another smaller town where dad grew up lol
Its alright out here, boring as anything (Hong Kong must be so interesting and fun!) but we live, and it is a relatively wealthy mini-city (24000 people, not including homeless people (this will sound awful, but out here it is their own fault - they refuse to go to school and get a job, and then they drink until alcohol toxicity syndrome drives them insane. It is painful to watch)

OMG.....the small city of HK alone has 7,000,000 people....so I think it might be not comparable haha, it is heaps smaller than all the other places, it's not even visible on a map, not even a dot. However, It's still two times bigger than singapore

exactly, lol. Would it be classed a city, prefecture or suburb? And my city, whislt being miniscule compared to HK, actually covers an area bigger than Hong Kong in its entirety (not volume, your skyscrapers would beat us hands down, but we do have mines down 4km... and an airconditioner capable of cooling it, placed on top of a very, very concentrated copper deposit lol, they had no idea...).
still, living in a backwater is okay, I mean if I want to go somewhere I don't need to have a car or public transport, I can walk or ride ^^

lol, our township is only 10km by 10km ( i think), but then the council shire (prefecture basically - extended area that the council is in charge of) is something like 500x500 km. so monumentally big ^^

a lot of people say i have a good memory (on school camp on an island we were doing a treasure hunt, and we got some obscure clues like two coconuts. i would instantly say something like twin palms inn, and be correct. then remember something weird like directions to exactly where it was...)

im sorta the opposite, i have great memory but i remember everything, good or bad, which isn't necessarily a good thing lol
So i remember stupid things like falling off a bunk bed when i was 7 and needing to go to hospital (not bad!) or when I got my first bike (Which I never fell off! I was pushed off XD)

sorry, i liked the bike, that was a joke. My little brother who was two at the time walked in front of me. it was hilarious. the bunkbed was awesome because mum and dad bought me the Pokemon movie (which was awesome at the time, btw lol) (I taped every episode at my grandparents (In australia anime is mostly on pay television)
I was just joking, seriously. Though I stress and worry a lot right now (I deliberately left out now, because I just had my second last block of exams), I am okay, don't worry

well, monday (late nights) on the state broadcasting station (less government input than you would think - half the shows are either british or canadian, except some of the comedies, but all funded by the givernment - no adds!) they play anime at 10pm (So far: Elfen Lied, Noein, Death Note, at the moment they are playing Code Geass lelouch of the rebellion. They only play shorter series... which is awesome, because I can't stand naruto or anything like that)
Even on PayTV (Austar or Foxtel) we don't have a dedicated anime channel, just the stuff Cartoon Network plays.
Another semi-government channel, SBS (which plays a few adds, but is the 'world' channel - plays foreign news, foreign tv shows, a few pretty good aussie TV shows, and occaisionly anime (they had a ghibli marathon, they played Ghost In The Shell, Appleseed, etc.) but they haven't had anime on for a while

its just pulp isn't it? sometimes something can be okay, but rarely. its the short seasons that are okay, even when it continues (I want more Ghost In The Shell Stand Alone Complex! lol. And elfen lied needs the second half of the story... now I have to by the manga (not a bad thing))
