I had this hanging around with the other version [link] for a while, and thought I may as well make it actually Samus since it was mostly done anyway : PSo I switched in a few details and here we are. (all still drawn by me obviously. The metroid in the background is the one from my older samus drawing in the ship)

Anyway, I don't usually comment, but when I do, it's usually long. With that said, I have to start out with the suit. It looks absolutely superb, and when I first saw the suit, I thought it was a new suit you made cuz of the shadows and the addition of the sphere glowy things. I do like how the suit also came out in your style; it retains the base design of the Varia suit, while you added a few more things like the previously mentioned spheres.
Samus herself has an expression that I always saw with her (Other M kinda tossed that out the window, despite the admerable effort of making her a three dimensional character). The baby Metroid came out good, and the background adds another layer of atmosphere.
The one thing that is somewhat negative that sticks out to me is how Samus's face is compared to the rest of the picture. The rest of the picture uses muted colors and shadows, whereas Samus's face is very bright and colorful. It just seems like another style of coloring/shading was used here, but I don't know; I'm not an artist, just a commenter

I'll have to agree with you, I didn't notice it when I was making it but her face does stick out a little bit more then intended.

Yeah, I know that feeling. I don't draw *glares at hands*, but when I write, some things slip past me. eh, the pic looks awesome anyway
