My entry for and my "A to Z" charade. I decided to do start off with good ol' Cyclops since he's one of my favorite mutants. I'm probably one of a few people who really like Cyclops. Dude shoots beams out his eyes. Coolest mutant power, no. One of the lamest mutant powers, probably but still he is awesome to me. Get ready for possibly two alternates to "C". I got two more mutants I've been dying to draw and they both start with the letter C. Besides I got the whole month ahead of me.
Hope you like.Also it was a toss up between his old X-factor suit (with the big white X) and this one which I believe is his latest. I don't read X-men any longer. I stopped caring once Morrison left. Anyways I always liked when his hair was covered. No reason to accidentally burn off the locks.

Always under appreciated, Cyclops is a genius tactician and has spatial awareness that allows him to reflect his beam off multiple surfaces to strike multiple targets. In older issues he has also taken on Nightcrawler, Storm and Wolverine at once. He then once took on the whole X-men team when they though he was a villain.
His only mutant super power is an optic blast, but he built himself into shape, studied battle tactics, and is a natural leader ready to make the hard choices. In my opinion, he is the most interesting X-Man. Since he can get beat up, it only makes the tension that much tighter.
Great work on the art, I really like the optic blast glare.
