Description I really liked the close up on vER so much that i actually redid the composition on this final piece just so it would appear bigger. I still feel like i should post it. I'm sure i'll throw it in my scraps eventually.

Thanks. I used it in the back ground of another piece but i put so much work in it that i had to show it off on its own.

I mainly use prismacolor markers (mainly just the french and cool greys)and color pencils for shading and coloring, Copic pens because i think the ink reproduces better and they dont smear when you erase the pencil work. With marker paper because i use markers and its thin so i can easily trace my work, i tend to do my first draft really sloppy just to get the idea out then i clean it up and trace the piece, the original tends to be too big of a mess to even bother with. Whew thats alot of writing.

cool. i havent used copic's yet...people rave about them though it's really neat to see the way you work traditionally and how you tweak it digitally.

i really need to stop writing you long replies. You ask simple questions and then i write you a book. Haha

i just started using them, i love them even though i tend to break the tips of the smaller sizes. I work more traditionally for several reasons. One, i'm not that talented digitally, maybe if i had a tablet i might be but with a mouse theres no way i could do what i really want to do. Two; its more hands on(again a tablet might help this to a degree. Digital opens so many doors though. There are things i could never pull off by traditional means or wouldn't attempt because of time or just having no idea how to go about it. Its a really fun mix. I do enjoy the outcome tho.

I'm still in love with the whole picture in general. And this portrait is just wonderful.
