Her nihilist grandson took one small jar and carefully poured one quarter-teaspoonful of the canning liquid into the headwaters of the Mississippi, the Amazon, the Thames, the Rhine, the Yellow River, and the Nile.

He never slept well again--not because of the eldritch nightmares, but because of the protesters.

Mad cultists from the island nations picketed him for ignoring THEIR rivers. Obsessive nightgaunts haunted him for not using the metric system to measure out the nameless fluids of doom. The Westboro Baptist Church, whose minister had dreams of immoral couplings between Byakhee and Shoggoths, tried to mount a protest but couldn't come up with a catchy slogan. Two bloggers got into a fistfight over which one invented the hashtag  #unearthlynamelesscoloredlivesmatter . Dow Chemical and Dupont lawyers eager for monopoly rights ended up brawling on his doorstep. Two city councilmen and a neighborhood-watch matron protested the disruption of local business.

Nothing was seen or heard of him for weeks until the odor of decaying meat drew the police to investigate.

They found his body wedged in the chimney where he had apparently climbed in such desperation that he had torn clothes, skin, and flesh in his attempt to flee whatever horror pursued him. Scrawled into the soot with bare fingerbones was the strange message, "Tell the paperboy I don't OWE him two dollars!"

Oh, I did not understand anything (Because of poor knowledge of the language in the first place)

This is some sort of surreal story based on pictures?

Oops! Yes, I'm sorry; I didn't notice you were from a different culture & language.

Yes, it's a silly story based on the picture; mostly joking about the kind of people who hold public protestors, but the last line is a tribute to a teen comedy movie called "Better Off Dead" www.imdb.com/title/tt0088794/ where the nervewracking life of a teenaged boy (a crush on his new neighbor; a sports rivalry; his embarrassing parents, and so on) is highlighted by surreal events like his mother's jello desert crawling off the plate, and a newspaper-delivery boy who comes to the door demanding the $2 he is owed - and, when the main character says he doesn't have the money, and closes the door on him, the paperboy turns up again and again at various unexpected moments in the film, increasingly ominous, like a horror-movie monster, still demanding his two dollars.

Sorry for the slow response.

Oh yes, I think this show was released before I was born.  And I'm not good at politics.
Nevertheless, it is very nice that you've written a story Thanks

Yeah, one thing I usually like about DeviantArt is that we rarely know each other's age or nationality (or sometimes even gender), so we know each other mostly by the things we create. But it does mean we sometimes get things wrong when we communicate, and I regret that.

Anyway, I'm going to shut up now.

Except to say "I LOVE YOUR PICTURE; it's a great idea, both creepy and funny, and you're a very good artist!"

Wow, this is really unexpected. I thought used  in the internet only my contemporarys and more younger people.
Thank you so much. In fact, it is very interesting to get acquainted with a foreign culture. It enriches a person.
I love all creepiness, so that it will always be there )
