I fancied doing a digital painting of something in a realistic style again just for a little bit of practice. My dog's a pretty good model.
Even if she does try to put her nose right up to the lens of the camera.This only took a couple of hours. It's pretty easy to zone out when you're drawing fur.
Isn't she a cutie? She's a Brittany.

I honestly looked at this and thought is was a photo. Your detail and different uses of brown come together nicely! I love the way you drew the pores on her nose and the water in her eyes, it almost sparkles! Not to mention all the individual fur strands. This is amazing work and deserves way more views than what it has.

amazing attention to detail, I swear it was a photo when I saw the smaller image of it. I love the eye as well as the blur effect, that the detail softens as you look farther back.
