I was browsing through AnimeNebula003 's gallery and saw her official version of IA Rock. "Oh wow", I thought, but being my usual stingy self, there's no way I'm going to fork out 200 bucks to buy software that I will never use to get access to what obviously looks like a quick conversion of the IAx model by mqdl. Nevertheless, it is a nice conversion, but honestly it is not hard to do so I made a version.And so here she is for those of you who are as cheap as I am... ^^
Mind you, this version includes all the usual upgrades I regularly add to my models including:
1. Outline OFF slider since I'm too lazy to access the menu option to do this...
2. Fade OUT slider for when IA is feeling really shy...
3. Fade to BLACK or WHITE (For the hell of it...)
4. Built in poses for spread, relaxed, OK, peace sign, pointing finger poses. These can be used in conjunction with the magic hand controls to create thousands of other hand poses quickly and painlessly. Great for those (like me) who hate posing fingers.
Incidentally, her skirt won't be see thru when her outline is off. And so far as I can see having tested her on a couple of motions, she's derp free (cuz I make clean edits).
Note: This version uses a custom eye texture. If you don't like the eye graphic just swap out eye.png with the file of the same name from the IAx model.
Terms of Use:
As per the IA Beta and IAx models by Mqdl and in accordance with their rules:
Specifically:
1. No immoral use.
2. No adult content.
3. No commercial use.
4. Use within 1st Place Co. Ltd. guidelines for the IA character.
5. Credit if used (not mandatory).
6. Editing and redistribution of edits, OK
* And don't make claims that this is the official IA Rocks model because it isn't. It's just a 'cheap' (but good quality) knock-off for those of us who are tight wads...

I actually Purchased IA ROCKS a few days ago and it cost a lot, and for the moment of truth.
it's actually different to IAx in the clear eye from Hair,texture and Modelling structure. but the model it's self is rare.
Like Mqdl's Creations why not make IA ROCKS free like V4 Flower at the main sight publically?
Along with the Motion Data LIVEDRIVE and the free Microphone but the bundle might be Worth it, since its a decent offer.

It was available for free? That can't be! I followed 1st Place's social media accounts and I know for sure they never announced a free limited time IA ROCKS MMD model. The only IA model they have for free officially is the school girl model.

As noted in the description on this page and readme.txt, this model can be edited and edits redistributed per the guidelines as outlined by mqdl.

The only big difference is the outfit change and some hair remodeling. If you're interested in making it legit, the hair I use in most of my IA edits is the hair from IA Rocks. I've been distributing it this whole time lol oops

TY, but it's good. If people want an exact replica they can it do it for themselves or buy the software package. My objective was just to make a facsimile rather than a carbon copy of a model that already exists (which would be a direct copyright violation in anycase). This is one of the reasons why I changed this version's eye texture as well as adding the [UNOFFICIAL] tag.

Ikr? When I got the IA package I had no idea an MMD model and motion data would be thrown in there. When I first saw the model I kinda laughed to myself a bit. The differences between the IAx model and the IA Rocks models are so minute, the only true differences are the textures for the hair and eyes but they're both so easy to replicate that it's no wonder they throw in the model as a tiny bonus. XD
All they did was take off her top shirt, put pink streaks in her hair, and gave her more shine to her eyes. Other than that it's the same physics and facial sliders that the IAx model already has. XD
Good on you for putting out an IA rocks model though, I've only seen a TDA version of IA rocks be put out. The only other one out is the actual IAx Rocks model that someone put up for download anyway.

They (1st Place Co.) must have been tight with their budget with mqdl and/or their art department... LOL
Seriously though, having subscribed to their YT channel for over a year now, there were some nicer variations in costume on some of the IA models used in their videos and Augmented Reality/Holographic stage performances that could have been used instead for the Vocaloid3 package, but they went for the cheap solution. Or perhaps branding was a factor in their thinking since the pink/green costume is iconic for IA?
As for putting out the actual IAx Rocks model for download (I saw it when I did research for this edit but didn't download it), I am seriously disappointed that someone (that I've actually corresponded with in the past) did something like that. That is VERY uncool and is not fair to the copyright owners, the modeler or the people, like yourself, who actually paid for the software and got the model as a bonus.
This is why I've deliberately labeled this version as [UNOFFICIAL] plus included some differences on the model such as changing the eye texture. My intent was just to create a facsimile and not a 100% accurate duplicate of a model that already exists (which would be a copyright infringement) so that those that don't want to buy the software but like the basic design of the IA Rocks version could have a similar looking model.

It was kinda interesting that they decided to throw her in that package, I guess it makes sense in a way though considering that the IA rocks Voicebank is included in the package and, from what I understand, the model was always included in the IA Rocks Voicebank. What would have made a lot more sense would be to have distributed the DAW outfit design that is actually paired to this package. By going to the 1st Place Co. website they have it a huge, pretty design advertisement for their DAW package for IA, do they offer the model in there for that design, not a chance, even though the model of IA with that same outfit does already exist considering you see it in her last concert....
I don't know, if they are budgeted right now I guess that would make sense that you can get two voicebanks and a full on professional music producer program for the price of a single voicebank.

I was just working off an image of her as illustrated on the IA Rocks Vocaloid3 box artΒ www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&β¦ didn't really notice any pink streaks. But regardless, I wasn't trying to make a carbon copy of the official release version either which is one of the reasons why I changed the eye texture. No sense in making an exact copy of an existing model.
