OMG SO RELATABLE! I was still living in Japan when Pokemon Go came out. And I remember that long month where all my friends back home had it but I didn't. Everything came out later there. I thought for sure Pokemon go would have been one the exception to the rule. That is until I realized that Niantic was based in the states.

can't say I experienced the same thing execpt maybe when I was in Italy for study abroad and to find other means to watch the newest episodes of my shows cause Hulu wouldn't stream it outside the US.

Worse part is when I had an Xbox live gold account but couldn't download my free monthly games... only GOOD part was their movies were the same region format as ours.

Ah, yes, the Pokemon Go craze... On one Anniversary, my wife and I went out to walk around some parks and enjoy some time to ourselves. While the scenery was nice, many of the local parks were populated by several people just standing around on their phones. We were confused at first, until we realized that they were playing Pokemon Go. -They were totally oblivious to everything else going on around them.

It's really amazing the unity the game brings, for raids you go out and meet new people, and it's really amazing how many older people and housewives are really hardcore about it in Japan! very fun ^_^
