More landscape practice, this one actually didn't take me as long as usual only about 2 1/2 hours this time. Decided to try my hand at more of a 'barren' brown sort of colour palette.Feedback is always appreciated

I like it. It has a bit of a desolate feel to it but it doesn't feel dead,just remote. Very well done.

this looks like something in one of my stories would look like.
The Crimson Sea In a world half consumed by water, and the other half consumed by land a war between two races breaks out . The Harpy half human an ancient race lost millennium ago in a war for survival. The Harpy is also half avian, or bird; the Harpy has a Human body with wings, and a tail; they also have razor sharp talons, and teeth. The Mermaid was also half human, but unlike the Harpy their other half was Pisces, or fish; the Mermaid has a Human body from the waist up, they also have a fish's tail, and razor sharp claws and teeth. These two races are in a war for survival, They kill each other, and consume their flesh to keep themselves from starving. There are only two choices of food for these carnivorous predators; the other race, or becoming cannibals and feasting on their own race.
Mermaids reign over half the world covered in water, they are the rulers of its domain. In the shallow water there lie spikes of coral just beneath the surface, the
