Oh, for people who have seen me in person...that's not me. That's Daine. She just...looks a lot like me. It's the hair. The difference is I give her bang...ish...things and keep her hair long. And dress her like an elf.
Aaaanyway...although by this point in the story her affections are given over entirely to Numair, in the fourth Immortals book Daine and Rikash develop a really neat friendship...that neither of them acknowledges.
But I think that Rikash needs a hug. So. Fanart. ^^

Daine: "aaaw, you're sweet!
"Rikash: "No I'm not! I'm a mean, nasty Stormwing warrior! A nightmare vision of war and terror! Covered in the gore and filth of the battlefield! Doesn't that bother you? Don't I smell? Hence the title.

Favorite character from Tamora's Pierce's books ever! I cried buckets when he died. And again the second time I read it. And the third. And the fourth...and he's pretty much the only character in any series whose death I cried over every time I read it.
Getting away from that, I love this picture! Daine looks EXACTLY how I picture her, and Rikash pretty similar. ^^

Rikash had a pretty specific description in the books, which helps a lot. I'm glad he measures up for a fangirl. ^__^

First off, a Stormwing must be bloody IMPOSSIBLE to hug, what with those steel feathers set to cut you to bits--weather they'd will it or not. Also, I doubt Daine could stand getting close enough to him to do so, with that foul stench about him.
But you are right--Rikash needs a hug. I'd totally give him one if not for the obstacles mentioned above...and if I existed in the Tortall universe. ^_^U
You make an interesting point, also--how the bloody hell DOES he get those bones in his hair?
