Description Spoiler:I can't really remember if the Urgal in "Eldest" was kind of an Urgal Prince or Clan leader or what...So I just slapped a title on there. This is another one for Eragon fan love. And probably to the Eragon club ~Eragon-Fc as well. I would quote the book passage to insure I did it right but I let my friend borrow it and she hasn't read it yet.. sigh... I tried to color this guy in Photoshop and realized I did NOT have a enough time to color him and do homework. So I did it the way I know!

As a gesture of peace he bears his neck to Eragon to show Eragon that he trusts him not to slit his throat. Those crazy Urgals hehehe

And an Urgal's skin is grey, I think.

Thank you so much for making this a reality. This is exactly how urgals should looks. I can't emphasize this more. I'm currently watching the movie on DVD because of a friend and I can't stop babbling every second about how this and that is wrong. The urgals are a huge part of what ruin the movie. You somehow managed to recreate my imagination of an urgal so perfectly it's scary. If someone dares attempt a remake, I hope they use your design.

Finally someone who can draw an urgal, ive looked at alot of pics of them and they either are too wimpy, are incredibly fat, or are just like a normal man ,with little wimpy horns. you did this perfectly, and for that i give you thanks.

OMg thats wiked i dont really like the sword as i don;t think the urgal was armed wen he came into camp and i rekon the skin is 2 dark but otherwise thats hell good

it's fun to know that many like Christoffer Paolini's books I'm looking forward to the movie - hope it'll be good I've thought about to draw some of the characters myself, but I don't have so much inspiration to draw 'em. Which's quite sad.

Very nice depiction of an urgal! This is really close to how I pictured one. The anatomy and design look great; he's not animal, but he's not human either. And you gave him horns! *happiness* The reason I bring that up is because the movie urgals look stupid as they are right now (*cough*RipofffromMenoftheSouthinLotR*cough*). Anyways, well done!

This is a very serious part of the book. The Urgal wouldn't have a pose because he's a very powerful figure. He would simply walk up to his enemies face to face and straight-backed, no pose necessary, ya know? So yeah, I pose or something would look better, but that's not what the Urgal Prince is about. But thanks for your advice. I'll eventually make a background for it but for now, it's just the character drawing for now.
