truth: when i got the base colors done i realized i got the color shades wrong so i thought ".....MAYBE I CAN FIX THIS DUUUUR" so last minute decided to use lighter colors on top of the darker tones. LOLITWORKED

sharpie is like any other marker i guess.
For the texture in the (orange) fur i colored with a peachy-orange(wait for base color to fully dry) then used a bright orange and colored it in a circular motion(?) causing the bright orange to do a transition effect so you can see both colors. I did the same for the fluff but used a darker orange(base) then yellow on top. The bell is just a metallic sharpie so the hard copy the bell is shiny. Eyes are light blue(base) with dark blue and using the (same) light blue to bled it out. Skin was just colored with whatever sharpie that was close to skintone *derp*
Some problems using markers to color is that it'll cause the lineart the bleed with the color(so i guess that's where you have to experiment with what kind of pen that you'll be using for lineart will cooperate with whatever marker you're using)...so far ballpoint pen doesn't seem to bleed in contact with sharpie.
sorry i suck at explaining processes OTL
and terrible color names. Sharpies don't exactly have fancy color names such as "pink salmon" or "maroon lake"
