Part forty-two of my 'mini' Dragon Series.
A primal Lightning Dragon.

The reason I didn't label this Lightning Dragon under electricity is because he is just that - lightning.

Mankind typically thinks of electricity as a tool - for building, providing, and entertainment. But we often forget from where we have tamed this valuable amenity, and thusly take it for granted. But many millenia ago, as our ancestors watched the darkening skies, they cowered in fear from the primordial forces that lay beyond their own - of the forces that change and morph the landscape in miraculous ways - of the forces that create such beauty, but at the cost of great destruction.

The true nature of lightning is of a raging beast - always hungry, always consuming - always unpredictable. No matter how much electricity we may have at our disposal, nothing can prepare us for the almighty battle against the untameable forces of nature at their finest.
