Recognize this? If you've been watching me for a long time, you might. XD This is a remake of not only the first comic I submitted to DA, but also the first comic I've ever made:Even though I'm a day late for Earth Day, I'm been meaning to remake this since last year and didn't want to put it off for another year.
And even though this was made long before I made the "Oh My...!!" Comic, I decided to include it as part of the series, since it fits very well as an OMC and is probably funnier than my last 3. XDAnyway, I'm very proud of this piece since it shows how dramatically I've improved as an artist over the last 2 years. QwQ I thank everyone who has helped and inspired me to get this far~ I feel like I'll just keep getting better~ >w<
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the humor and the colorful-ness that I promised 2 years ago, and only got to now. XD Also, Happy Earth Day! (A day late...)

Your art style has definitely improved quite a ways, and you do a number of things well. it's hard to even LOOK for things to be improved. ^-^ I'm still adamant about you doing a good job on flowing things like clothes or hair. and you're very good at showing expressions through body language, it's easy to tell exactly what they're thinking. there's also the little touches that you're pretty good at - like your locket, or neptune and uranus's little interaction - that add to the final product in a unique positive way. as well, for the most part you're quite good at anatomy, like accurate limb length and stuff that a lot of people find difficult. another thing I liked was the way you're able to shift style for effect well, as you did in panel 13. (reminds me of gurren lagaan :3 )
comparing this with your original comic, it's a pretty big improvement. I've mostly seen your relatively newer stuff (since i've only known you as long as I have :3 ) but you've improved vastly, and I know you will continue to do so~ maybe I can't draw myself, but I know talented work when I see it. Just one of the bonuses of having an excellent artist for a best friend for as long as I did, I suppose~

Thanks for all the compliments, bro! You really know how to spot all the little things I do right, and I appreciate that. I still think I'm pretty terrible at clothes though. XD In fact, I think I subconsciously gave Keira less and simplified clothes, so I could focus more on her figure and movement, especially since I actually need to work more on female anatomy. The fact that you think the anatomy is good means I must have improved. x3 And I'm so glad you pointed out the Gurren Lagaan style, cause that was completely intentionally. I swear, I almost gave Keira Kamina's shades in that close-up. ALMOST. XD

Oh, so the Gurren Lagaan style wasn't another case of "Zero's helmet" syndrome, then~! XD (that is now an official thing, by the way.) (and you should still TOTALLY POST THAT SKETCH. It's EXCELLENT.)
I'm one who firmly believes that what one does well is just as important as what one needs improvement in. right in the middle of the scale.
and I'll repeat, I still think you're good with clothes. Little touches are all it takes sometimes, like how you manage make clothes look three-dimensional for example, it's an important part that you do well. and how you have clothes hang properly on characters. it might seem an obvious thing to do but it's still an amateur thing I see messed up a lot.
and again with your little touches. that takes creativity to think of to pull off that might pass over others, like adding Antarctica to the globe as you have. or even Uranus's vertical ring. or even remembering it HAS a ring. and that eye for detail always impresses me. In fact, that eye for detail is really making me look forward to your interpretation of A's design, if he's gonna be simple or ornate, and how you'll fit it all together. Or really, any of those characters. XD
also, Happy pluto reminds me of the Rhythm heaven mascot guy. as a reference... > [link] < dammit, why is that game's music so ear-worm-y? TT^TT *grumble munchy monk grumble* and don't even get me STARTED on karate man...
