To be honest, if we had Marinette just tell Ayla after a couple of episodes of the first season. Then maybe it would have been a nod to having a ‘sidekick in a chair’ who helps the heroes out whenever she can. Just like Ganke from Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales, or Ned from MCU’s Spider-Man.

And after a while, Marinette decides that Ayla is ready to join the fight at last.

There’s not much I can put with Ayla since I don’t mind her character, and she’s fine where she is. But I think she’d have more of a chance to help Ladybug whenever there’s a akumatised person.

So I hope you like it, Nino is next, and then Chloe!
