Description Yuki-onna are evil Japanese yokai of snow and ice. I've been wanting to paint one for a while now, and I finally had enough cash to commission a sketch to work from!

Based on a sketch from manic-goose
Snow overlay from SheisprettyStock
Chains (off the hairsticks) from Crystal92
Light shines on the ice from redheadstock

Very lovely color choice. Makes me feel chills looking at it. The blurred backgound really makes her pop nicely off the page. Only thing I can say i dont like about it is the cold feeling...............i'm in ne ohio and sick of the weather. you should do her opposite in fire.....now that would "feel" better.

Thank you. There would be only one problem with doing a fire version: yuki-onna are, by definition, snow/ice demons. 'Yuki' actually means 'snow' in Japanese. So a fire yuki-onna would be kind of redundant.

Lovely. It came out very nice, you used a great color scheme. Would you like some critique?
