Now a promotional drawing for the Triumph charity artbook for St. Judes hospital it's gonna be in the book guys
A very sick boy wanted to see the north, not just from picture books and movies, but with his eyes. A polar bear appeared before him and said he'll gladly bring him to the north with two conditions :
- "make me gloves and a scarf, I'm not good with cold weather! "
- "be sure to take lots of medicine with you, although it might freeze sometimes."
- β¦.and they saw the train which brings everyone to the land of dreams,
but they didn't get on the board.
their dream was living right there, that time,
2 pairs of glove prints in the snow showed that more than anything.
That precious cold air,
That marvellous green light
They kept on walking,
and laughing,
those fun times, those memories
were warmer that any other season.
......you imagine the horror at the hospital when a polar bear appeared suddenly in front of a boy, right? //mingface
It was soo much fun to drawwwww

The St.Judes hospital saved my little brother's life. I use to draw for him during his treatments. He was big on Pokemon at the time XD You'd be surprised how much a cute picture brightens someone's day. Even if it wasn't in the book. You could donate the print

Awwww, truly a wonderful piece...the story if touching too, seeing that this is a warm tale out of something as cold as winter..(I like writing stories with my works too you see)...yeah, a polar bear out of nowhere...talking even...will cause heart attack on hospital staffs....
Anyways, I have my concern, you shouldn't be posting the original size piece on your gallery like you did here...Rules of the book said that you're only allowed to post a preview, and the original artwork shall be sent to the organizer's mail. Unless she allowed you to post it, then don't mind this reminder....(^_^)..I'm just concerned that your work will be in circulation even before it hits the bookshelves...
Other than that..congratulations..it's an honor for me to have my artwork side by side with great artists like you guys...

This was actually a contest entry, but I was told someone might withdraw from the winter section, and that I could participate then with a preview. In the end, no one withdrew from the winter section till I uploaded this as an entry, so there was no point in changing it with a preview after 1000 deviants already saw it
So that's why it's a promotional drawing now...

(^_^)..I see, so that's what that Promotional Entry is all about heh...Yeah, it was once announced that some artists withdrew...I was also expecting new artists to rise and submit their artworks....I didn't update myself that there wasn't any withdrawal, my mistake...
the piece is great, made by a talented artist...If only in could be included as a special extra artwork...still, it's doing a very fine job of promoting, so we thank you for that....
Thanks, I'm really not that good to be considered to join the project, but I did my very best and enjoyed it....I really hope that one day we could work on a project in one team such as an artbook...(^_^)

To explain things in a more confusing way, Renee apparently had plans of inviting me once any artist withdraws, and did in fact, but at that time I was working on this winter one...
so I declined and said I will work for the contest.
I finished it and when I submitted it to dA and the group(as a contest entry), she told me one artist from the winter section had withdrew from the artbook and if I want to change this to a preview....
what a bad timing timing...
so I think I'm taking the artist's place rather than being an extra artwork...

Awww, it really is quite confusing, a series of bad timing....but you still consider it as a promotional artwork,does that mean you're working on a new one and going to catch up as the withdrawn artist's replacement?...
I really wish you good luck, I hope you make it on time...no, you'll make it on time, your work deserves to be part of the project, no doubt...I'm routing on you...cheers..

If this doesn't make it into the book I'll be calling BS. Seriously, this piece and its story are so touching, and of course the drawing is fantastically executed. Best of luck, and I'll be looking forward to seeing this in print!
