This is one of the most amazing illustrations I've ever seen. I'm a fan of slightly morbid art, especially with mad-scientist themes, and this is just my cup of tea.
I love that you don't have to sacrifice color to make it look scary.

thanks! I think I could have made it a bit more creepy, but hopefully the contrast between the severed limbs and somewhat cheery colors is eery enough.

ahh the mood of this artwork is so somber, very creepy but you can't help but keep guiding your eye all around it.

For some reason, it makes me think of Sherlock Holmes in hell. I like all the strange little details on the shelf, like the vulture and the eyeball vase and the kitty in the jar. I really like it.

I like the composition of the pic, it is amasing, it makes you look over and over again~ And good job with texturing - they're awesome!!
