Description

The Star Forge, a space station whose power was incalculable. The Old Republic sent dozens of fleets for one push to defeat it under the guidance of Revan and Bastila. However, the Galactic Empire would rediscover the fiendish device had reformed over Rakata Prime and would engage it. Tragically with only three Star Destroyers. The three vessels were wrecked and taken into the Forge which began to mass produce them. Emperor Palpatine and Vader, recognizing the threat, would assemble Death Squadron and add a dozen Super Star Destroyers and 14 battlecruisers to the fleet.

The resulting massacre saw the destruction of most of Death Squadron, all but 3 Super Star Destroyers, 6 battlecruisers and (to Palpatines anger) the annhilation of the Star Forge preventing his usage of it.

To this day, the reformation of the Star Forge is still unexplained although theories centering on the death of the Brother have been suggested.
