Thanks! They were quite pretty but not the easiest thing to paint. I couldn't get the subtle color transitions.

Ah, watercolors! You used them perfectly for this. Delicate and whispy for the flower and vibrant and strong for the stem and leaves.

This particular one was such a pain. I think me and backlighting just don't get along too well.

Oh pffft. Get up, you. It's really helping to do a b&w study and at least one color study. Then when you get to the really good paper, you have an idea what your doing. Also my teacher is just awesome, which helps a lot too.

Apparently my teacher rocks even more than I thought he did because he's actually teaching us stuff. (Gasp!) It's really sad how little that seems to happen.
