i haven't submitted in months!! T___T;; school takes up way too much time.anywhos i was suppose to start on some 2-d stuff..but lol i felt like doing another portrait...
its another loreal ad...if anyone wants to see the original i can upload and stick it in my scraps
i tried something new this time, smudging the pencil with a tissue rather then my finger XD...lol it definately looks better this way

*and like always i can't help but half-ass the hair...
**err...in my haste i just realized the ear is unfinished T___T! sorry...well LOL i'm sure i'll get to it eventually XD

You can really tell the difference between smudging with a tissue and your finger, because the oils in your skin also discolour the paper when you smudge with your finger ---euk. Those Blending Stumps are good for blending small areas like around eyes, mouth, but are really crap for blending large areads like cheeks etc... You are reallly mastering your tools here...I look forward to seeing more of your work.

lol...i need to get used to using stumps..but i still find them a hassle LOL..i think i'm just lazy T___T

Nah your not lazy! once you master stumps drawing is sooo easy and you do wicked drawings so quickly, especially once you get smoothly blending larger areas down its dope. Yea, I'm just coming off holidays so less drawing for me too!

very nice as always, have you tried using those blending sticks instead of tissue or your finger? i don't remember what they're really called, but i think you know what i mean, i think they're very useful

Hmm.. that look like.. La..something I forgot her name Casta O_o hmm.. using a tissue does look kinda nice o_o! I tried using a tissue before but somehow I ripped it to shreds ><;;
o.o;; but hair is fun to draw! ^^ ohh.. I didn't notice the ear lol! errm... just cover it up with more hair!

haha...i hate them too..but you learn to adjust when u have to write like 10 a year lol.
LOL...or some people use q-tips..haven't tried that yet...hmmm
