Well, a dead phoenix was part of a strange dream I had years ago...I've wanted to draw it, but I just haven't gotten around to it. My dead phoenix in my dream though, was dead for good

those colours are beautiful i like the way you have all those different shades of red and orange. its beautiful. the background being breen was a good idea too. it makes the red of the pheonix really stand out.

What I like, though it may sound lame and off-ish, is that certain parts of the bird seem as though the fiery color in it is also 'dying' in a sense. I dont know if it was intentional but it works x3
