Been playing through Ico again and my mind is bursting with fanart ideas. This is the first as it was the quickest to do.Done in oC in about 20 minutes.

This art fits the game. That game was wonderful and oh so very breathtaking. That and there was something endearing about a boy that would bash in the heads of living shadow creatures with a stick to help out a girl who didn't understand a word he was saying. It was worth exploring the big empty, yet somehow beautiful castle. It's got that same simplicity here.

This is awesome! I love that game so much.
Once my sister was playing Shadow of the Colossus and she found out a way to get onto that bridge. It was frustrating though because when she finally got to the end of the bridge (it took FOREVER to get across) and she tried to escape from the forbidden land, wind started blowing and it wouldn't let her out. I'm serious, that actually happened.

ICO rocks. For some reason I'm also reminded of the long bridge in SOTC (have you gotten up there?), which is a bit jarring. Then again, the creators said bot games could be in the same universe... Very similar atmosphere with washed out colors.
I really want to recreate the world/architecture/geometry of ICO somehow. It would just be a heck of a lot easier if someone could decode the game models somehow to use as reference. Pipe dream.

Ooooh, Ico.... Pretty PRETTY game. I can't play it though. I'm too impatient. *sweatdrops* I just remember getting knocked off a staircase at the beginning and not being able to get back to the girl because I had to climb up the stairs again. And I think that was where I said "screw this" and stopped playing.
