I like to watch a lot of recently-made space documentaries, and the other night I watched one that talked about one of the first "terrestrial" exoplanets found; a rocky world just a little over one-and-a-half times the diameter of Earth. This planet however...is NO "Earth 2.0". It may be called a "Super Earth," but this planet orbits so close to its parent star (a G-type, Sun-like star) that one year is only 20 hours, and it is also therefore tidally locked, meaning one side of the fire-roasted planet always faces the star, making that entire hemisphere one enormous ocean of molten lava. If anything, it should be called a "Super Venus" or a "Super Mercury," not a "Super Earth."Also it's been a while since I made a "space drawing," and I was in the mood to post one.

Let me guess...I drew the planet a bit to close to the star and the curve of the star makes it appear too small?

Yeah that's too but if its that close to the sun, the planet should have need already half destroyed right now due to the intense radiation the sun has. But nice drawing though :3

Yeah I'm aware of that, but I wouldn't have been able to show both the sun and the planet in the picture if I made it that accurate. I wanted to give it some "artistic flare," if you will.
