All who think this digital painting of an astronomical eclipse looks better that "DeviantART Eclipse," say "It's Full of Stars!" XDIn all seriousness though, I was in the mood again to do a quick space-drawing, this one of the gas giant planet Jupiter viewd from the "night side" as the massive planet eclipses the distant sun before the viewer. I also included three of its famous moons, Ganymede, Europa and I.O., also with a similar "eclipsed light halo" effect. In addition, I decided to go all out with this one and show some little flashes of lightning from storms on the night side of the gas planet, as well as the fancy lightshow that is Jupiter's auroras, softly outlined in magnetic field bands stretching out from the planet and one band in particular crossing paths with I.O.. Basically, I tried to make this my most "scientifically accurate-looking" space-drawing yet. Let me know if you think I succeeded. :3

Well... Space always can be of stunning beauty. This art is great, no buts. It was hard for me to give it a fair rating. But now I should point out some details that seem off.
First, the polar zones of atmosphere shouldn't be that blue. If that is aurora borealis, you should make it more vibrant. It's not only dark blue. As for its colours, you chose them almost right. But yellow should be more like orange.
All the rest is absolutely fine. You did a good job, I am surprised. You even made the distance perspective. Keep up the good work!

For the auroras, Unownace seems to be inspired by the Ultraviolet images of the jovian auroras, wich show them in blue

Thank you! And yeah, I noticed the issues with the colours myself. I'm limited by the outdated software that I have, so it forces me to experiment a lot until I get the perfect result, and often that can take several tries.

Eh, it would probably take me months to learn how to use it, and I don't know if you can just e-mail someone a copy of a bought and paid-for program like that. Adobe gets pretty anal about things like that.
