can i ask, cos i was experimenting taking pictures of myself.. how do you focus the camera when your not behind the object, like if you or part of you is the object? cos i failed trying to set the focus to about the right place and then going on a timer to stand there... lawlll x

Well, for me I either hold the camera and take the picture or I use a remote. You can get a remote for most SLRs for fairly cheap, though I don't know what camera you use. I know with my point and shoot I can't use the timer because the focus will be off when I go get in the shot. So, if your only option is using the timer then I honestly don't know what to tell you. :/ I've not tried just using a timer with my SLR, so if that's what you have it might work? Sorry I'm not much help to you.

so do you put the camera in auto focus and use the remote and when you ress the remote button, it focuses?
and ive only got a borrowed slr atm, busy persuading the parents to by me 1 and then i would get a remote with it!

yep, so u do have some kind of timer on it even if its only like 2 seconds to hide the remote, else it would take nearly instantly once u press the button and focused...
and ive been doing more nature/building/country/urban pics atm... no1 to do portraits with!

There is a switch on it you put on either 2sec or 1sec. So, there's a slight delay either way, but I keep it on 2sec.

i dont have any problems with socialisiing with people younger than me...
at school/college im in whats known as year 13 (age 17), but there are people in year 7 (age 11) that i talk to sometimes at lunch... and once you ignore people paedophilic comments about me talking to them its fine, like its them that talk to me first anyway, and i would be pretty damn derranged if i got sexual thoughts about a 11 year old.
