Description
There many tales about the Other World, and about their rulers. Titânia, Seelie and Unseelie... However, there's a tale not as famous: of Aine and Grian, the fairy queens.
Aine was the queen of Spring and Summer, of the sun and the heat, ruling from April to September. However, once Autumn Equinox came, the throne was hande to her sister, Grian.
From October to March, from the fresh wind and fallen leaves to the biting cold and snow, Grian ruled. Albeit unknown, Grian is the one that controls the flow of dormant life, and is also the one tha looks over the lost soul that run loose during Samhain, or, as we know today, during Halloween.
Grian, a queen, a fairy... a woman who looks over life and souls.

It's been a while since I've posted a Halloween themed art, and normaly it features my OC Lily Mist. But this year.... I decided to do it ... DIFERENTLY

Grian is also an OC. However, she's also a true character of Irish Folktales . She's not as known as her sister Aine, but she exists, and it's pretty much how I describe above, with a few differences.

Well, this it! A bit of magic and culture for today
