Description This weird little creature is not giving you the finger--it's an aye-aye, a nocturnal lemur with really peculiar hands. It's been pointed out on more than one occasion that when people draw lemurs, all they ever draw are ringtails, so I figured what the heck, for my further experiments in exaggerating and foreshortening--here's an aye-aye. They're not pretty beasts, but they have a certain freaky charm. Sort've.

I love this, I've been searching for pics of aye-ayes on DA as theyre my new favourite animal, and this is one of the best anthro aye-ayes I've seen! I have to point out its the middle finger that should be the longest though =3 and good job on the face, because it really does look like a real aye-ayes!

this is very cool but isn't the longest finger even more skeletal?

Aye ayes are awsome. I wrote one into one of my books just because I think they're so cute.

Fantastic twist on the old Furry art obsession with lemurs, and how terribly unsexy. Therefore, I love it.
What was this done in? It looks like Illustrator.

wanna hear a really strange coincidence?
This is the first time I've come across your page, and I spot the Aye-Aye.
Now, less than 20 minutes ago I was doing a google search to find out information on this particular lemur. (I was presemted with a hypothetical question, "which animal part would you like to replace your own with")
Remebering a special on Discovery Channel, i immedietly thought of an Aye-Aye.
That story was probably of little consequence to you , but its kind of weird the way things happen sometimes! I mean, really, how often does the topic of Aye-Aye come up in your everyday life!

aye ayes are probably my favourite creatures from the lemur group. i love the way you can make animals anthro without losing any of the realistic features. it makes for a unique and impressive style. ^______^
