Description
FOLLOWING THE EVENTS OF "THE PERFECT PEAR", THIS WILL PROBABLY BE MODIFIED.
This is my first MLP:FiM-related deviation.
As a freelance genealogist, I thought I'd apply my skills to a franchise I really enjoy.
This will be the first in a series of family trees I will do for various characters in the show.
In addition to using canon characters and original characters of my own, I have also used (with permission, of course) various original characters from other Deviants to not only enhance the quality of my own work, but more importantly to draw attention and pay homage to the work and contributions of others who also love this franchise! ^^
I'm open to suggestions and changes (especially in the Biography sections)!
Here's the first family tree: the Apple Family. This documents the direct ancestry of Big McIntosh, Applejack, and Apple Bloom. Separate family trees of their father's and mother's families are going to be submitted soon.
For references to locations, please visit the following map!

Finally, if there's anything you'd like to ask, please feel free!
And now, without further interruption, here are the biographies of those depicted in this family tree...
TUMBLEWEED WALKER
Race = Earth
Residence = Ponyville (born in the northern hinterland of the San Palomino Desert)
Occupation = Wagon Maker
Personality Traits = Calm Demeanor; Strong Work Ethic; Friendly, yet Stern; Stubborn
--Likes/Hobbies: Hard Work; Honesty
--Dislikes: Laziness; Dishonesty; Sloppy Work
Cutie-Mark = Wagon Wheel
Relatives:
--Needle Point (Wife)
--Quick Pace (Son)
--Granny Smith (Daughter-in-Law)
--Haralson Apple (Grandson)
- Tumbleweed Walker was one of many settler ponies who decided to cast his lot in the potential offered by the foundation of Ponyville. He, his wife Needle Point, and his son Quick Pace made the decision to move there following the Apple clan’s success with Zap Apples; a severe drought known as the Great Drought also served as a “push” factor for them to look for greener pastures. Tumbleweed already had a small wagon-making business in the small town he hailed from (which now no longer exists), but by the time the family moved to Ponyville, his business had been in decline due to the depletion of wood sources (no wood, no wagons). Tumbleweed (like many ponies of his era and socio-economic background) was one who appreciated honest hard work and the fruits it bore, and had a low opinion anypony who made their living off the backs of others without any contributions of their own (this caused him, unfortunately, to have a stereotypical view of unicorns as generally lazy). Upon moving to Ponyville, he and his family settled on land near Sweet Apple Acres due to the large amount of trees – thus giving him a large supply of quality wood. He reestablished his wagon-making business, and thereafter had modest success, most of his clientele being from either Ponyville or the surrounding area. Sadly, not long after his son’s marriage, he was killed by a timberwolf.
NEEDLE POINT
Race = Earth
Residence = Ponyville (born in the northern hinterland of the San Palomino Desert)
Occupation = None (Domestic Work)
Personality Traits = Sweet & Nurturing; Generally Outgoing; Can be Stern
--Likes/Hobbies: Hard Work; Sewing and Embroidery; Cooking; Gardening
--Dislikes: Dishonesty; Laziness; Rudeness; Arrogance
Cutie-Mark = Three Paisley Designs
Relatives:
--Tumbleweed Walker (Husband)
--Quick Pace (Son)
--Granny Smith (Daughter-in-Law)
--Haralson Apple (Grandson)
- Needle Point, like her husband, was descended from a long line of poor, rural ponies. Her single greatest talent was creating complex embroideries and doilies, establishing a small “cottage business” to compliment her husband’s wagon-making business. She also aided her husband in subsistence farming – which sparked an interest in growing a variety of small vegetables; additionally, she had some skill in cooking local delicacies. Growing up in the arid, sparse area just north of the San Palomino Desert, she learned to improvise in a variety of areas when resources weren’t readily available. However, with the onset of the Great Drought and the subsequent hard times for their hometown, she (along with her husband and son) decided to move to the burgeoning settlement of Ponyville. Once the family settled in, she continued her embroidery, although she now had an abundance of materials to work with, greatly improving the quality of her work. Like before, her embroidery work helped to supplement the family’s income. Following the sudden, violent death of her husband, she moved to Sweet Apple Acres to live with her son and in-laws. She died when her grandson, Haralson, was young.
QUICK PACE
Race = Earth
Residence = Ponyville (born in the northern hinterland of the San Palomino Desert)
Occupation = Apple Farmer
Personality = Friendly; Somewhat Shy, but can be Social; Generally Quiet and Laid Back; Competitive (but not to extremes)
--Likes/Hobbies: Hard Work; Honesty; Efficiency; Farming; Construction; Competing in Races; Card-Playing and Betting in general
--Dislikes: Laziness on the Job; Dishonesty; Inefficiency; Cheating
Cutie-Mark = Three Horseshoes
Relatives:
--Tumbleweed Walker (Father)
--Needle Point (Mother)
--Granny Smith (Wife)
--Haralson Apple (Son)
--Honey Blossom (Daughter-in-Law)
--Big McIntosh (Grandson)
--Applejack (Granddaughter)
--Apple Bloom (Granddaughter)
--Pokey Oaks (Father-in-Law)
--Sew 'n Sew (Mother-in-Law)
--Prairie Tune (Brother-in-Law)
--Happy Trails (Brother-in-Law)
- Quick Pace, the youngest in his family, was the only one of his parents’ offspring who decided to remain with them; the rest of his siblings either died young due to disease/malnutrition or moved on, settling in various parts of Equestria. As of the present, the Apple Family has been unable to successfully locate the descendants (if any exist) of Quick Pace’s surviving siblings. Once he was old enough, he took on the primary responsibility of the family’s subsistence farming (in addition to working odd jobs). True to his name, he was one of the fastest stallions in the area, often winning races and earning prize/bet money. With the onset of the Great Drought and the decimation of their hometown, the family moved to Ponyville to start anew. Once in Ponyville, he initially continued his routine of taking odd jobs to support his family in addition to subsistence farming (however, with the increasing prosperity and abundance of Ponyville’s markets and their proximity to Sweet Apple Acres, growing their own food was becoming less of a priority). He met the Apple Family (and Granny Smith) for the first time formally while waiting to receive apples in the midst of a bad harvest due to a vampire fruit bat infestation. He got along well with the family, and soon starting courting Smith, which eventually culminated in their marriage several years later. In the fifth year of their marriage, their son Haralson was born. By this time, Quick Pace settled into his new role as an apple farmer, gradually assuming more and more responsibility for the day-to-day operations of Sweet Apple Acres following the departure of Granny Smith’s brothers, Prairie Tune and Happy Trails (who already had families of their own) and the retirement of Pokey Oaks. He died a year before his son and daughter-in-law were killed by timberwolves.
Here's an image (from the show) of when Granny Smith and Quick Pace met. Tumbleweed Walker and Need Point can also be seen...

POKEY OAKS
Race = Earth
Residence = Sweet Apple Acres (born in the northern hinterland of the Hayseed Swamps)
Occupation = Apple Farmer
Personality Traits = Easygoing; Friendly; Soft Spoken and usually Quiet
--Likes/Hobbies: Apple Farming; Strumming on the Banjo; Collecting Seeds
--Dislikes: Laziness; Disrespectful Attitudes; Arrogance
Cutie-Mark = An Acorn and several other Seeds
Relatives:
--Ozark Trail (Father)
--Prairie Fire (Mother)
--Sew ‘n Sow (Wife)
--Prairie Tune (Son)
--Happy Trails (Son)
--Granny Smith (Daughter)
--Quick Pace (Son-in-Law)
--Haralson Apple (Grandson)
--Oakey Smoke (Older Brother)
--Brown “Brownie” Sugar (Sister-in-Law)
--Goldie Delicious (Niece)
--Apple Seed (Father-in-Law)
--Crabapple (Mother-in-Law)
--Applesauce (Sister-in-Law)
--Desert Rose (Brother-in-Law)
--Candy Twirl (Niece)
--Apple Rose (Niece)
- By the time his Zap Apple jam products became popular, Pokey Oaks never could have imagined that he would ever be successful at anything. Growing up poor in the hinterlands of the expansive Hayseed Swamp, both of his parents were dead by the time he was a young adult stallion. One day, while selling produce at a local market, he met Sew ‘n Sow, who was also selling some of her own homemade blankets, quilts, and other woven products. A courtship eventually began, and after a few years they were married. They eventually had three offspring: Prairie Tune, Happy Trails, and Apple “Annie” Smith (Granny Smith). After weathering through the hard economic times of the Great Slump, his family farm (which had been in dire financial straits for many years) was foreclosed when Annie was only a foal. The family soon took to the road, traveling throughout Equestria (mainly as far south as the Macintosh Hills and as far north as western Manehattan), and made their living by collecting seeds and selling them at whatever markets they stopped at. After years of wandering in search for a place to settle down, Pokey and Sew finally took a liking to an area of land where they had camped for several days, not too distant from Canterlot. Wanting an official claim to the land, Pokey planned to seek an audience with royal officials in Canterlot while attending a fair in the city. When the day came however, they ended up meeting Princess Celestia herself (she happened to be attending the fair at the time, where the family was selling some of their seeds; they managed to get her attention and have an audience with her). Having little money to obtain claimant papers for the uninhabited land, they offered her a bag of some rare seeds. The princess agreed to the deal, and the land was theirs.
o The rest is history: mlp.wikia.com/wiki/Family_Appr…
- After Ponyville and Sweet Apple Acres were firmly established, Pokey Oaks and his family were finally able to live a stable, rewarding lifestyle (the occasional bad harvest or bat infestation not withstanding). From then on, Pokey’s life was generally filled with success and satisfaction, both in work and family life. By the time both of his sons and their growing families left Ponyville for greater opportunities, and following the marriage of his daughter and the birth of her son, Pokey was finally able to comfortably retire (his son-in-law, Quick Pace, took over his responsibilities). He died almost 15 years after his retirement.
SEW ‘N SOW
Race = Earth
Residence = Sweet Apple Acres (born in the area just southwest of Baltimare)
Occupation = Apple Farmer
Personality Traits = Stern, but Affectionate; has some Jealous Tendencies; Take-Charge Attitude; Plain Spoken (accentuated by her flat tone of voice and Southern accent); Stubborn
--Likes/Hobbies: Sewing; Cooking; Gardening; Socializing
--Dislikes: Laziness; Liars; Infidelity; Complaining
Cutie-Mark = A Sewing Machine

--Apple Rose (Niece)
--Ozark Trail (Father-in-Law)
--Prairie Fire (Mother-in-Law)
- Sew ‘n Sow was a slight outlier in her apple-oriented family; as she grew older, she preferred to knit and sew over tending to the family’s small orchards. In addition to an interest and skill in woven work, Sew also inherited her low key demeanor from her mother (but none of its gracefulness; her younger sister Applesauce was the societal “belle” in the family). She became successful and very skilled at what she did, and sold a good deal of her products at local markets. During one such sale, she met, befriended, and eventually courted an equally plain-spoken farmer named Pokey Oaks. After a few years, they were married, and the two eventually had three foals – Prairie Tune, Happy Trails, and Apple “Annie” Smith. During the early years of her marriage, she lived on her husband’s small family farm, and soon became the “matriarch” of the family – becoming responsible for the maintenance of the farm, the education of her offspring, cooking the meals, etc. When the farm was foreclosed, the family took to the road, and (following a relatively brief stay with Pokey’s brother Oakey) began to travel throughout Equestria and made their living by collecting seeds and selling them at whatever markets they stopped at. Having little money to obtain claimant papers for the new land, they offered her a bag of some rare seeds. The princess agreed to the deal, and the land was theirs.
o The rest is history: mlp.wikia.com/wiki/Family_Appr…
- After Ponyville and Sweet Apple Acres were firmly established, Sew ‘n Sow had a relatively easier life. With her grown sons now maintaining Sweet Apple Acres, she devoted more and more time to her sewing. She was also responsible for organizing Apple Family reunions. She died just before the birth of her great-granddaughter Applejack.
CITRON
Race = Earth
Residence = Manehattan
Occupation = Agricultural Investor/Speculator
Personality = Sophisticated; Somewhat Snobbish and Elitist; Strong Work Ethic; Affectionate towards his family, but usually deferred to his wife with regards to planning family events, matchmaking, etc.
--Likes/Hobbies: Making Money; Attending Social Events; the Nuances of the Fruit Industry
--Dislikes: Thieves; Beggars; Failure
Cutie-Mark = A dollar sign surrounded by various citrus fruits
Relatives:
--Clymenia (Wife)
--Mandarin (Son)
--Honeysuckle (Daughter-in-Law)
--Citrus (Granddaughter)
--Honey Blossom (Granddaughter)
--Honey Bloom (Granddaughter)
- Citron’s family is an old Manehattan family; he can trace his ancestry back to the first settlers of what was to become the sprawling metropolis. Thus, his family is counted among the city’s “natural” elite. Like many of his forebears, he went into finance, where he developed an interest in the agricultural fruit sector, particularly citrus fruits. Over the course of his career, he provided much-needed financial aid to struggling fruit farmers and invested in new technologies that greatly aided in the productivity and efficiency of fruit farms. This, in turn, greatly increased his family’s already substantial wealth and greatly elevated his own social prominence, especially among wealthy fruit-growers; in fact, he met his future wife Clymenia at a social event for wealthy planters in Manehattan. They eventually married, and their son Mandarin was born within a few years. Although an affectionate father, he was not always present, having a very strong, almost single-minded focus on his work. Additionally, although a caring and affectionate husband, he increasingly found Clymenia’s aloofness, emotional distance and occasional stand-offishness to be stressful and off-putting to deal with, and the two gradually lived separate lives (except at dinner and family events). Unlike his wife, he was more open-minded when Mandarin decided to marry Honeysuckle, who was from a family of slightly lower socio-economic status. He died when his grandchildren (particularly his twin granddaughters Honey Blossom and Honey Bloom) were still fillies.
CLYMENIA
Race = Earth
Residence = Manehattan (born on her family's plantation south of Baltimare)
Occupation = None (Socialite)
Personality = Sophisticated; Very Snobbish and Elitist; Aloof, yet Domineering; occasionally Stand-Offish
--Likes/Hobbies: Attending Social and Cultural Events; Increasing her Family’s Social Standing; Socializing in general; Painting
--Dislikes: Anypony of a Lower Class than hers; Beggars; Thieves; Hard Work and Working in general
Cutie-Mark = An Orange Tree
Relatives:
--Citron (Husband)
--Mandarin (Son)
--Honeysuckle (Daughter-in-Law)
--Citrus (Granddaughter)
--Honey Blossom (Granddaughter)
--Honey Bloom (Granddaughter)
- Like her husband’s family, Clymenia came from a very old, prominent and prosperous family of citrus fruit growers – the Oranges (her family, however, is not the main branch of the Orange Family). Born on her family’s sprawling citrus plantation south of Baltimare, she enjoyed a variety of privileges prevalent among the landed planter elite. As a prominent young socialite, she met her future husband at a social event in Manehattan. They eventually married, and their son Mandarin was born within a few years. As the matriarch of her own family, she organized the family’s social calendar – filling it over the years with a variety of social events, vacations, and other activities befitting her and her family’s elite status. She was also a very talented painter. However, she suffered from the same deficiencies like many members of her class: she was arrogant, rude, and condescending (especially towards those of a lower status than hers); additionally, she could be aloof and cold towards her own family, showing her son scant amounts of affection and showing little genuine interest in the nuances of motherhood; she delegated much of those responsibilities to either governesses or relatives. Even so, she still had a decisive say in family matters, especially with regards to courtship and marriage. When her son Mandarin decided to marry Honeysuckle, who was from a moderately prosperous family, she fiercely protested, seeing it as a social “demotion” for her son. However, after much drama, she reluctantly relented to the marriage, but never completely accepted Honeysuckle into “her” family. After her husband’s death, she gradually withdrew from social life, but still wielded influence in family matters. She was utterly appalled when her granddaughter, Honey Blossom, married an “uncouth, low-bred” stallion like Haralson Apple. She died shortly afterward.
MANDARIN
Race = Earth
Residence = Manehattan (currently resides in North Horseshoe Bay)
Occupation = Agricultural Investor/Speculator (Retired)
Personality = Sophisticated; A Little Snobbish and Elitist; Affectionate towards his family; Sensitive
--Likes/Hobbies: Making Money; Attending Social Events; the Nuances of the Fruit Industry; Spending Time with his Family; Sailing; Music; Art
--Dislikes: Failure; Loneliness; Lack of Affection
Cutie-Mark = A Mandarin Orange
Relatives:
--Citron (Father)
--Clymenia (Mother)
--Nectar (Father-in-Law)
--Passiflora (Mother-in-Law)
--Honeysuckle (Wife)
--Citrus (Daughter)
--Mosley Orange (Son-in-Law)
--Sunkist Orange (Granddaughter)

--Big McIntosh (Grandson)
--Applejack (Granddaughter)
--Apple Bloom (Granddaughter)
--Honey Bloom (Daughter)
--Grease Lightning (Son-in-Law)
--Sunflower (Granddaughter)
--Babs Seed (Granddaughter)
- Mandarin, although growing up in a life of luxury and privilege, had a relatively lonely colthood, as his father was usually away on business and his mother generally lacked maternal affection. Like his father, Mandarin went into finance and continued to maintain and develop the family’s fruit interests throughout Equestria. However, although successful, he wasn’t as successful as his father, and was able to focus on and freely pursue other interests due to the family’s substantial wealth. Like many of his class, he partook in various social events, showing a special interest in yachts and art galleries. He also was a talented pianist, occasionally performing at local concerts. He met his future wife, Honeysuckle, when he visited her family’s farming business as part of a new investment venture. They eventually fell in love, but he soon encountered the upper class wrath and disapproval of his mother. Citron, despite his own upper-class bias, acquiesced to his son’s choice as he preferred him to be happy rather than “well-matched”. Mandarin and Honeysuckle would go on to have three fillies: Citrus and a pair of twins, Honey Blossom and Honey Bloom. Wanting to rectify his father’s failings, he spent as much time with his affectionate wife and loving daughters as possible. While he approved of Citrus marrying a distant cousin of hers, Mosley Orange, he was more uneasy about Honey Blossom’s marriage to Haralson Apple and was shocked when Honey Bloom decided to marry Grease Lighting, a working-class mechanic. It took much more convincing for him to accept the latter rather than the former, but eventually he relented because, like his father before him, wanted the happiness of his offspring to come first. After retiring from finance, he and his wife relocated to a retirement community in North Horseshoe Bay. Sadly, following the untimely deaths of his twin daughters, he became increasingly withdrawn and reclusive.
NECTAR
Race = Earth
Residence = Rural area west of Manehattan
Occupation = Sweetener Producer
Personality Traits = Outgoing; Shrewd; Friendly; Straightforward; Likable; Affectionate

- Nectar’s family had, for many generations, resided in the western rural outskirts of the Greater Manehattan area and, like many from the area, were ordinary farmers who grew a variety of crops for the market. Nectar, however, decided to break from tradition: he would experiment with growing plants that would, in turn, produce a variety of sweeteners. Within a few years, his gambit payed off; he was now producing a variety of honeys, syrups, and other sweeteners that were becoming locally popular. His products could be found as far west as Neighagra Falls, as far south as Fillydelphia and as far east as Manehattan. During his rise in success, he married his former schoolmate and longtime neighbor, Passiflora, a talented horticulturalist who soon became an invaluable business partner, using her knowledge to greatly enhance the quality of his products. With his business’s reputation steadily growing, he caught the attention of a young Manehattan investor, Mandarin, who wanted to invest in Nectar’s growing business (and subsequently profit in it). However, while visiting Nectar and Passiflora to discuss business relations, Mandarin soon became smitten with their daughter, Honeysuckle. Although a business partnership was set up, Mandarin spent most of his time trying to subtly woo Honeysuckle – finding her intelligent, graceful, and affectionate; he soon began to devote as much time as he could on Nectar’s homestead. Nectar, initially quite uneasy with this development, found that having his daughter married to a wealthy individual could provide financial security for her. Plus, Mandarin was “decent enough” (from his own perspective), and Honeysuckle increasingly enjoyed his company. Soon, Nectar and Mandarin were in-laws, and despite his business being only one of Mandarin’s various ventures, there was always that unique familial closeness. At his death, Nectar willed his business to Mandarin. Mandarin, in turn, delegated the business to Honeysuckle’s cousins. Eventually, Mandarin sold his entire stake in the business to them.
PASSIFLORA
Race = Earth
Residence = Rural area west of Manehattan
Occupation = Horticulturalist; Sweetener Producer
Personality Traits = Shy, yet Sociable; Sweet & Nurturing; Very Friendly; Very Sensitive
--Likes/Hobbies: Growing Flowers and Plants; Cooking; Developing Hybrid Plants
--Dislikes: Loud Noises; Arguments; Dreary Days (whether it be in the fall, winter, etc.)
Cutie-Mark = “Passiflora × belottii” Flower
Relatives:
--Nectar (Husband)
--Honeysuckle (Daughter)
--Mandarin (Son-in-Law)
--Citrus (Granddaughter)
--Honey Blossom (Granddaughter)
--Honey Bloom (Granddaughter)
- Like her husband, Passiflora’s family lived in the area west of Manehattan for many generations, farming the land and selling their produce to market. She had known Nectar since fillyhood, being both his neighbor and schoolmate, although they would not become intimately close until many years later. She began to specialize in cross-breeding plants, educating herself through the local library and her own experiments, and soon used her expertise to help local farmers. One of those farmers was Nectar, who already had a locally successful brand of sweeteners. The two began to court and, within a few years, were married. Although she continued to assist other local farmers from time to time, Passiflora was now predominantly focused on helping her husband. Her work helped produced more durable seeds, which led to healthier plants, high quality produce and (subsequently) high quality sweeteners. Within a few years of their marriage, their only foal, Honeysuckle, was born. With their business’s reputation steadily growing, Passiflora and Nectar caught the attention of Mandarin, a young Manehattan investor, who wanted to invest in their growing business. However, while visiting, Mandarin soon became smitten with their daughter, Honeysuckle. Although a business partnership was formed, Mandarin spent most of his time trying to subtly woo Honeysuckle. Unlike her husband, she was a little more open-minded from the get-go. Still, at their daughter’s wedding, it wasn’t easy to get along with her new in-laws, especially the judgmental Clymenia. Nonetheless, Passiflora often made grandmotherly visits to Manehattan to see her granddaughters Citrus, Honey Blossom and Honey Bloom, and following the death of her husband, she decided to live her remaining days with her daughter and family in Manehattan. All the while, she never gave up on her lifelong passions – growing hybrid plants and gardening.

- Despite being an only-foal, Honeysuckle grew up in a caring, nurturing environment – having the love and support of her parents, nearby relatives, and friends. Upon coming of age, she received a scholarship to a prominent Manehattan university, and became the first member of her family to receive a college education. She went off to college and followed in her mother’s footsteps as a horticulturalist. Four years later, she graduated 3rd in her class out of a total of 2,000. Returning home, she joined her parents in the family business, adding a sense of confident professionalism. Within a few years, however, she found herself pursued by somepony close to her own age: her father’s new, young business associate Mandarin. Although this romantic interest was initially one-sided on Mandarin’s part, she soon became attracted to his kindness and charm, and eventually discovered that they had a good deal in common. After a few years, they married, and within a few more years had three fillies – Citrus and two twins, Honey Blossom and Honey Bloom. Moving to Manehattan, she soon found a job at the city’s botanical gardens, eventually becoming its director. Most of her working hours were spent improving and enhancing the gardens, ultimately earning a reputation as one of Equestria’s preeminent botanists. Unlike her husband and his family, she was very open-minded about all of her daughters’ choices for husbands, and always made the most sincere effort to make the bridegrooms feel like part of the family. After her husband retired from finance, she retired from her work soon after, and the two relocated to a retirement community in North Horseshoe Bay. Sadly, following the untimely deaths of her twin daughters and her husband’s increasingly reclusiveness, she is now devoted to the care of her husband, although she still maintains correspondence with her numerous relatives.

Sorry, but my art is pretty much limited to photographs and some fan art in the form of charts and graphics such as fictional family trees. Plus, even if I were a more skilled artist, I just wouldn't have the time.
Again, I apologize.

Well, I'm not really convinced (at least for the time-being) that Flim and Flam are related to the Apple Family (despite their apple cutie marks). Even so, I won't rule it out entirely; if I do concoct some sort of relation, I'll upload it as a separate tree.

You could have used Granny Smith's younger photo of herself. Just seeing an old mare in the family tree seems off.

Actually, I wrote most of the material! ^^
It took a good deal of time and creative energy to conjure up these biographies.

Tumbleweed and Needle Point are from several flashbacks (most notably, in the crowd in "Leap of Faith" and waiting for apples in "Bats!").

Actually, the mare whom I've dubbed Needle Point (for the time being) doesn't have an "official" placeholder name, although her cutie mark is three Paisley patterns.

That's actually a much clearer picture than the one provided on the MLP Wiki.
Mind if I use it in the description?

Which one? The picture of Paisley, or the one of the Apple Farm?

Ah, yeah. That one. I cleaned it up as best I could in Photoshop. It still needs some sight color adjustments, but you get the idea. That stallion that you have married to Granny is more of a dull red, like....well, rust red?
Yeah you can use it.

I usually like to use soft names for mares. One of mine is Primrose. Another is Moon Catcher. IDK...Needle Point just seems silly.

Meh, it could have been worse.
I'll stick with it for now, unless you (or someone else) has another interesting alternative in mind.
