Description
I sketched this back in 2016 when there was a lot of Hawaii stuff going on in the media (PokΓ©mon Sun and Moon, Disney's Moana, the Mickey Mouse short Ku'u Lei Melody) and I got an inspiration to do something Hawaii related with these two. Too bad it got delayed but here it finally is.

What a beautiful vacation for Arnold and Helga

Even though I'm a little sunburned from smoking some pork belly all day yesterday, this lovely drawing makes me want to take a trip to Hawaii (too bad that's not at all feasible for me).
While the whole picture looks stellar, what struck me the most was the particular choice of textures you used for the background, which I think is very appropriate for a day relaxing under the sun with plenty of sunblock and your favorite drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic).Β Of course, great job drawing Arnold and Helga in more tropical attire and capturing their personalities.
