Series - Final Fantasy X
For the Saturday of Sakura Con we (*FightingDreamersPro ) did a Final Fantasy X group. This outfit was a pain in the ass with all the belts, eyelets, and the hand painting that finished at 6am on Wednesday which gave me just enough time to shower before school =_= Plus it was my first time making a corset and the boning took a while to figure out @.@'
I keep joking that this is my first 'girl cosplay' (no kolibri, I don't count Luna! Because that was a closet Harry Potter).
I got lots of compliments on my boobies....yay?
Some guys gave me the thumbs up and some people took my photo at a PRETTY LOW point of view but whatever X'D It was fun and as the wise saying goes, "Flaunt what your mama gave ya".

Hmm, I guess the biggest thing is to make sure you have 2 skirts.
One skirt which is two layers where all your belts will be sandwiched between.
And the outer skirt which will just sit on top. You don't want the weight of the belts pulling it down.

Hmmm i bought all my fabric for my Lulu cosplay today, and i'm having a little trouble, how did you do the sleeves and skirt? (I have no access to patterns)

For the skirt I used a vinyl fabric and for the corset it was a fabric similar to a crush velvet.

Yeah, the vinyl I found great for the sleeves and top skirt. It also lets you cut her small flower designs without fraying. And I recommend doing two skirts. One to hold all the belt and the second just to float on top so it won't pull with the weight of your belts.

Waah, you are such an epic Lulu! So pretty, and I can hardly believe that you made that dress... it's so complicated! But it turned out amazing, but what can I say? You are just boss like that.
I want to cosplay Lulu at some point in the future I noticed that it's nearly impossible to buy the hair sticks, and I figure that you must have made yours, so here's my n00b question of the day: What did you make them out of? And where did you buy your materials (as in, a craft store, etc)?

For the hair sticks I used metal coat hangers for the base and scuply for the designs. You can also use paper clay and they both can be found at a Michales craft store (there all over North America I believe)

But a lot of the belts I made with extra leather and vinyl I had left over from other cosplays. Same with the corset. And I have a box of scuply X'D I'm a major pack rat ^^'
