Kass it Could be worse you could be stuck on the hellish boring planet I'm forced to call home named earth I would trade positions (not bodies and minds) in a heartbeat though the thought of females not being able to choose mates due to unfair gender ratios is a unsettling

I suddenly remember that in the game series Jak and Daxter, Daxter got turned into a scawny annoying creature but by the third game he decided to stay that way. Probably just for marketing reasons lol but still. I'm going to start feeling worried when Kas starts being "okay" with being a yinglet.

Oh yeah! I watched a roommate play through that trilogy in college. Turns out the ancient forerunner technology thing that turned Daxter into that weaselly thing was because the ancients were, in fact, those small annoying weaselly things.

To be honest, I always felt that to be a retcon done just for the lulz. The Precursor "egg" in the second game released an energy being...people have tried to come up with explanations but in all honesty, I think Naughty Dog just forked up the third one...I think it had something to do with some of the head people leaving during the middle of Jak 3's development, but I don't remember for sure.
T'was still funny though...the ancient beings that the elf-like people worshipped or revered were little furry critters.
P.S. Actually it wasn't, eh, tech per se that turned Daxter into an Ottsel, but rather Dark Eco...long story, go check the wiki

Why do I get the feeling that Ran would've been disappointed if there hadn't been some strangling involved?
Also it's just occurred to me that, with his broken shell tooth, Lopin isn't just Kass's servant, he's Kass's responsibility. Kass is gonna have to help him eat (unless Elim or one of the others can handle that). I wonder when he/she is gonna realize that.

I say it's neither. I say it's research. Think about it! Ran is getting an up-close view of two differently-gendered Yinglets in combat with one another. Will they use varying tactics? Will it be a one-sided match or will it be an even fight? And possibly this could result in easy access to Yinglet organs for analysis! Oh, the knowledge that could be gained and documented!
