May Kanker is still my least favourite character, so I'm planning to do cheap drawings like these every first day of May so I won't neglect her too often.

For the people who paid attention; you can see I changed May's adult design a bit. The top right drawing shows her old design . Not including giant ears and eyelashes.

The drawing with her in the monster costume belongs to a story that took me a year to come up with, and since I'll probably never make a comic of it, this is it:

As most of you don't know, Ed is a cameraman in a low-budget horror movie studio. What Ed doesn't know is that May is his favourite "monster actor" of all time and saw her in countless other lame horror flicks. He's been fan of her performances for years and only knows her by her stagename "M.K.". He doesn't even know it's a "her".
When Ed's studio hires her, obviously he's excited, but it doesn't take long for him to find out his idol was May all this time. He falls in love with her, though May, the only Kanker who gave up on her man a very long time ago, isn't quite willing to accept his sudden love, as he shunned her many times back when she was still interested.

Indeed. This took me a year.

Some of you might think this is a basic story, but while I already had in mind how Edd and Eddy would get their Kankers, Ed was just a harder character to write for. He's lovable, but you can't really build a romantic scene around him. Especially not with May.
