This is a painting that I did a long time ago. I thought I might scan and upload some of my old work.This was done with oils on an old piece of board.

I used to love wiling away the hours while the kids were at school. I used to sit on the verandah most of the time so as not to fill the house with the smell of turps. Last time I looked in an art shop I'm sure I saw an alternative. Anyway, once back at work, busy life and no more time to paint. I discovered digital about five years ago. No worrying about paints drying out etc, & I love the undo button 
Perhaps you should upload some of your work? I decided to as there is a group with monthly "draw alongs" that I thought I'd try, and they need to see that you have some traditional art in your gallery

Awesome. I don't own any of my paintings now but did record most of them. I'll see if I still have pics. I think I even have a few that I painted along while watching William Alexander's 'Joy of Painting' on PBS TV. back in the 70's.

Oh, maybe I missed them. I'm way behind with my watches etc. I will get to them if they're there
I only ever sold two, and that was because one of the local well known artists asked me if I'd like to display some of my work with hers at a local fete. I was always a bit shy about showing them off, but as I say, I did give a lot away for birthdays and Christmas.

Selling all mine was kind of a fluke. My sister's son has advanced MS. Family friends held a fund raiser to help with recurring and overwhelming medical bills. I shipped up all my paintings for auction. They sold out quickly at top dollar, but it all went to Sis. I was still pleased to know (or hope) that they all hang in a lot of peoples homes. (probably up in the attics)... lol
