This is a vent wow well..
I don't want to post vent arts because I don't feel like anybody should bear with me negativily, but..
So one of my pets, the one I had at the age of about 6, is dying at this very moment. He's not himself at all and as soft and sensitive as I am I'm taking it very hard, tears watering my eyes right now. But of course I can't prevent death, it's something we all go through! It's okay!
I don't know why, but he always seemed kind of wise to me when I was having a hard time. This is the hard thing about pets, you become their friend and their lifetime is shorter than yours, you have to take the hit. He'll still be here though in the afterlife, teaching me new things about losses I've watched him age, now's the time to leave this life and begin a new one.
