Here is an oil painting study of 'Kakihara', from Koroshiya Ichi (Ichi the Killer). The sheer insanity of this character was just beyond comprehension.It's 30cm X 30cm, oil on acrylic board.

this is amzing!! everytime i see that move i think of another one that tadanobu was in..idk what it was called but there was a scene where hes talking to this guy and the guy says something like "you watch too many yakuza films." and then right after it goes to the next scene and all you see is an ichi the killer poster haha

I really love this painting, the color scheme of look realistic and i like how you make the background bring out Kakihara.
I also think that Kakihara, the best character out of all in Ichi the Killer movie
