Description This is my first true piece using Painter 8. I wish I would have used it sooner! The way it makes the pixels feel as if its simulating the traditional media is amazing. I think Im going to use Painter a lot more now... Im looking forward to seeing Peter Jackson's version of Kong around Xmas 2005.

An Advice...when you composite an art you have to keep on mind the next step, as if this were an animation, for example...what action will preceed to every element in you art, seems like all those biplanes going to hit kongΒ΄s body.

KAMIKAZE?

ut man, stile and overall is very fine, I love the tracing.

Really great work here, great concept. very traditional looking

I'm an avid Painter user as well.. I was wondering, which brushes you used?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

VegasMike In reply to drailed [2004-11-20 08:37:29 +0000 UTC]

Hmmm good question! I remember using the pallete knife, some oils, and some smeary blenders with the basic settings. Thanks!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

drailed In reply to VegasMike [2004-11-20 09:40:22 +0000 UTC]

Awesome, yeah.. the new Artist's Oils in Painter IX is so realistic, it's almost identical to traditional methods. Granted, I'm still using the mouse.. (wacom soon) but this is some really nice work, looks very traditional. You should try the Acrylics in painter, Traditionally.. they make some nice results, but I have yet to see anyone even release a piece made with Painter's Acrylics. Anyways.. keep em coming.
