This is a lil’ gift for my wonderful I’ve been doing this artwork for a while,because I believe after all her support and sweetness she more than deserved it,I love this girl lots

I’ve drawn another work for her before(this one: ) but I wanted to make something better,and here it is and,after she sent me a print of this gorgeous work of her: I wanted even more to make something for my dear Pam hope she likes it
Now about the artwork...

They are sisters Even though they are fairy and mermaid,and have very different lives and elements,they are always together,because they love each other no matter how hard it is,they want to be with another and be happy,like true family ...
Well,actually they aren’t really OC’s of mine(at least for now),but I wanted to give’em names...so I called’em Febe (the fairy) and Thetis (the mermaid)...I’ve never really drawn a fairy before to be sincere,but I know dear `imaginedmoments likes them,so,while I was thinking about what do draw for her,I’ve got this idea of fairy and mermaid and...the elemental sisterhood concept(inspired from Greek mithology)Hope you guys like it,I did my best to show up what’s on my mind

Tools used: mechanical pencil,HB,2B,4B pencils,Mitsubishi and Faber Castell colorpencils,0.05 Pigment Ink + a little touch on Photoshop on colors (I hate that my scanner eats so much of my original coloring it never looks on the computer the same way it does originally on paper,no matter how hard I work on it after scanning...T__T)

Seriously,it took me more than THREE MONTHS to finish this artwork I started drawing it on the middle of December,but just got to finish now (but a lot of this delay was because I was too lazy to finish it for some time)... Took around 15 hours to do the sketch,5 to lineart,20+ to color,3+ for the PS retouch and yeeeeeeeeeeah I know the fairy’s arm is too long,but when I noticed that and wanted to correct I already started coloring so I couldn’t fix it u.u so please,don’t need to criticize that,I already know

Guys...everyone...and specially,now,my amazing friend `imaginedmoments :Thanks to everything...everything.I always ever feel happy,because I have you ALL at my side... (and not just when I’m at DA!When I’m doing my stuff at real life,I’m always thinking of you as well,and wishing you all best) You will never know enough how much your friendship means to meT_T ILU all too much !!!!!!!!!!!!
...probably if it wasn’t for you guys,I would have already given up at drawing I’ve never really got support at what I love doing,that is drawing(since I was a lil’ child btw) and this is sad after some time.Seriously, just when I stop,and think,I see how much this place means to me,and how much it helped me to improve,not just at my art,but as a person this is much more than a site,it’s a refuge,a home, I can say, to me,and to so much more people as well,I’m sure of itI’m so grateful that this place exists,and that you are all here:3 thank you so much,forever and ever
