I've put everything of mine in to this one, new techinques, new ways of approach, new view point, new knowledge, everything was brand new to me; the result turned out quite well, but still far from what I hoped for. Keep practicing, there's still a whole long road ahead of me, as I'm right now, still lacking and inexperienced, I don't have much option but to keep practicing and learning new things. Keep on, me! And thank you who follow me all this time.=======

Ahaha, something similar xD she's Yatagarasu, a giant crow daemon and the symbol of the sun (also another crow daemon in Japanese mythology).

This picture really has something ^^. I like how there seems to be some kind of dynamics in this picture, I think through her hair and the wings. And they have a wonderful fire-glow

To be honest, I don't quite know it myself, but I have a feeling that "something is lacking", definitely. It doesn't have the "vibe" I wanted, the "feeling" was a bit lacking, too. It's not something that could simply be achieved with just techniques. Well that as well is a proof that i'm still inexperienced. But, I know for sure that if I keep on pursing myself forward that one day I could achieve that "something"

Hm, it is truly hard to give tips or advice with that.
The only thing I see is that maybe you could increase your color range (that might bring some more "vibe"). From what I see you mainly used black-brown tones (all somewhat reminding me of burnt umber) and the orange for the light (and some reds for eyes and jewellry). And maybe some slight blue-tone for some skin-shading, though I am not sure with it.
For example you used about the same colors in the background - that way she does not really "stand out" from it. She is still the main focus and one can tell back- and foreground apart, but more from knowledge than from the colors used.
I hope it's okay for you that I start analyzing your picture XP. It's just... once I start I tend to find lots of things... and what is "well-done" and what maybe could be changed... (it just does not work with my own pictures)
