Another oldie.You know when you think back to an old picture and remember it being awesome, then when you finally look at it again a year or so later you get this epic disappointment when you see all the flaws? I mean...that's good, means I've progressed, but it's still disappointing.
I had to rework this one a bit because of this, and I'm still not happy with it. I think my style has shifted since I made it. Those crude black outlines on the main design bother me..not to mention her pose- still it's about the design, not the illustration this time. It got made and it did the job. Meh.

I feel the same way when I look back at a lot of my old work. I'm still working and changing, but that's what makes art fun! It's forever changing!

Too many black lines I think, it distracts the image and I find it hard to take it all in? The lines seem to lead the eye all over the place maybe that's just me though, I think if you swap the black for darker colors of the undelying color it could look cool.It's still pretty awesome though

hehe cheers- yes that's exactly what bugs me about it, glad it's not just me. I intend to do away with those black lines, and just generally soften/harmonise the whole thing more. Thanks alot for the input!

It's a nice design I think, but maybe it is abit loud, I don't know, I think it's pretty good, nice palette!
