First Appearance: Bit.Trip Beat (Wii 2009)

The protagonist of the BIT.TRIP series, though he's only really playable in the Runner entries. A runner by nature, CommanderVideo will run, jump, slide and kick his way through various courses that play to a rhythm, keeping up with the beat in order to achieve a better score. Like any good athlete, he starts out uncoordinated and amateurish, but ultimately grows into a pro over time. In fact, each game is a different stage in his story and development. Side note, it was previously thought that CommanderVideo was romantically involved with CommandGirlVideo, but nope! They're just good friends.

CommanderVideo appears in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U as a collectible Trophy.
