The Level of Detail is amazing. The persepctive is fucking awesome. Great how buildings in the background are less contrasted and blurrier while the building in the foreground are detailed.

you are absolutely right. Thank you for your words. My biggest concern what exactly that one, the fact that the pointy clock tower seems to be too close to the balloon, hahah I didn't quite pull it off.

I think the closeness with the pointed tower reinforces the overall nightmarish feeling…

Hmm... Not sure if you want critique; if not then just ignore me.
I think you should have used some atmospheric perspective on the bottom part of the balloon, similar to what you did with the houses in the distance. It's not really clear where it is in relation to the lighthouse and, more importantly, that pointy clock tower that looks like it's about to pop it.
Other than that, good work ^^
