Yeah . . . no idea what this could be used for, other than a grand entryway . . . a GRAND entrance! But yeah, most places with grand entrances are fairly useless. . . Palaces, Castles, Cathedrals . . . Great design, though! I like the vibrant colors!

Las Vegas is full of those grand entrances, but I don't think they're useless; it's a great visual advertisement. Like flowers calling for bees

Yes, I had the chance to walk every night, for years, electric and electronic factories, as well as a huge pigments factory and its endless warehouse 
It was kind of magic to me (I was a child and then a teen) but no one was so clean as this one
