PIZZA TIME!! I mean ATTACK!!!!This was a project I started around christmas. Most of that time was spent modeling the turtles, the dome itself only taking about an hour. Or wait that might be backwards.
The idea, or inspiration for this came when the TMNT Forever animated movie's blog posted the model sheets for the technodrome . So that was my main reference mixed with some other incarnations of the dome.
When it came time to do the big renders 3dsmax would crash after about an hour of rendering. So I kept lowering settings and the sizes of the render until it finally pooped out an image. So sorry this the biggest I could squeeze out.

Made in 3dsmax8, vray, and photoshop.
Lots of rock textures from imageafter.com and the sky is from CAStock .

I tried to set the lighting to match what you had created in your image, that way it would look more believable. So, thank you. Also, I love how the technodrome eye magically lined up so that it appears to be looking at the minions! It's like it was meant to happen.

I found this image in a google search and thought it was amazing. I was wondering if I could use it as a background in a motifake poster, for my blog? I would give you appropriate credit. If it helps I was setting up a photo shoot of Teenage Mutant Minion Turtles and this would be the backdrop. More than likely it would be blurry as the background usually are for what I do.

Hi, I'm currently mixing music for my solo project and I was wondering if i could use this picture for the album cover of my single called "My Ride Is An 87' Technodrome". I think it would look perfect. I wouldn't alter anything except crop it to a 640x640 size and put my performing name on it. I am mixing for non-profit purposes, and I intend to provide people with my songs for zero cost. Therefore I will not be making money off of this and would not be providing royalties in anyway. Lastly, I would of course credit you with the artwork and make sure that it is accounted for in every way possible.

Alrighty, it's officially finished
Here's the link to the Youtube video. I think it sounds best with either 5.1 surround sound speakers or with stereo headphones (I used both for editing and mixing) However I was told that it sounds nicely with ipod earbuds. Sadly simple built in laptop speakers just don't do it justice.
