The Pirate Dog went fishing.

The Pirate Dog belongs to , who kindly gives me permission to use him every time I get paranoid with some stupid illustration about his adventures and misfortunes.

A bit adjustment won't hurt. This is really good, and I think if you adjust the brightness a bit, it'll be cool!

Yeah, same problem. Lazyness. One day I'll do it, I know it.

Thanks, I'm pleased that you like it, despite the adjustments :I

strange-such dark picture for watercolors, but the dark tones make the light stand up more. Have you done it on dark paper or just added a lot layers?

VioleRodrigo In reply to Yuujin [2008-11-15 12:11:26 +0000 UTC]

Lots of layers. Lots and lots of them. It's also my scanner's fault. The real one is not that dark. Stupid scanner -____-

I'm glad you told that, that was my intention
And well... I'm always pushing my friend to write a long story about this dog, so I can illustrate it, and putting it together, making a kids book So maybe one day it becomes possible to read a book in his whole adventures.

Thanks for looking, and taking the time to comment ^____^

Very nice work on the lighting and blending, especially with the waves and the sunset. If you don't mind a suggestion, I think the pirate dog's face should be a little more clear to the viewer. Then again, it could possibly be the scanner's fault.

Cool stuff.

You're absolutely right! It's in part my fault and in part scanner's one. I promised myself to work on fixing it with photoshop buuut... lazyness...

Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment, and for not only saying "oh, very beautiful". I'm always happy to receive constructive critics

You're very welcome. Glad I could offer some input but yeah, I agree that scanners can be an occasional nuiscance.
